We are a congregation of about 35 families.Our pastoral leader is Christine Ramirez. Our Sacramental Minister is Father Robert Rademacher. We first began gathering for Mass in the home of Margaret Hughes. Our current church building was completed in 1956.
The St. Joseph community is heavily involved in outreach to the whole Dickenson County. We are members of the Clintwood Ministerial Association, Catholic Conference of Appalachia, Catholic Conference of the South and The Fourth World Organization.
